His P.Ar.Rock mates say that he is the best hammond player they have ever played with and, he added, is the only one they have been playing with!!!! They also say that he is the band most balls-breaker (when do we reharse?) and the most psichopatic even if he doesn’t use drugs since long time…believe it otherwise tomorrow morning my house will be full of “them”!!!
He started playing piano when he was a little boy (12 years old) but he left it after two years to play football; he also left the piano lessons because the teacher was ugly and an “asshole”.
In the meantime the passion changes direction strongly and, from Chopin and Bach, goes to Tony Banks, Keith Emerson and the Master Mr. Jon Lord; first Deep Purple LP? 1977, BURN “borrowed” without receipt from Standa Department Store and never brought back.
The hammond organ hit him directly in the head and in the heart with its unique sound and essential for the hard rock and become a natural evolution of his self-taught person musical growing.
In 1996, with some friends he formed the only Arezzo (his city) Deep Purple cover band: Arky Daky (greek words meaning “dry testicles”); Mr. Rock Spirit-Lung (Carlo) is with them as the group lead voice. Parties, rock festival, clubs were their main targets.
The meeting with P.Ar.Rock is not accidental; Mr. Lung (The Rock Spirit) is the link with P.Ar.Rock that invite him to join them in 2004 due to the lack of Hammond player.
The rest of the story is at the present-day; P.Ar.Rock have added Led Zeppelin covers to Deep Purple covers, putting the hammond organ in a way to keep the original Led Zeppelin at his historical level.
